Pro dom\u00e1c\u00ed v\u00fdrobu je vhodn\u00fd reaktor z nerezov\u00e9 oceli, kter\u00fd odol\u00e1 korozi a vysok\u00fdm teplot\u00e1m.  Jeho objem by m\u011bl b\u00fdt zvolen dle pl\u00e1novan\u00e9 produkce.  D\u016fle\u017eit\u00e1 je dobr\u00e1 izolace, kter\u00e1 zajist\u00ed rovnom\u011brnou teplotu b\u011bhem reakce.  M\u00edch\u00e1n\u00ed reak\u010dn\u00ed sm\u011bsi je nezbytn\u00e9 pro dosa\u017een\u00ed co nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edho v\u00fdt\u011b\u017eku biodieselu.  K tomu lze pou\u017e\u00edt mechanick\u00e9 m\u00edchadlo.<\/p>\n<h3>Proces transesterifikace<\/h3>\n<p>Transesterifikace je chemick\u00e1 reakce, p\u0159i kter\u00e9 se triglyceridy v rostlinn\u00e9m oleji reaguj\u00ed s methanolem za p\u0159\u00edtomnosti katalyz\u00e1toru (hydroxid sodn\u00fd).  Reakce je exotermn\u00ed, tj. uvol\u0148uje teplo.  Je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 udr\u017eovat optim\u00e1ln\u00ed teplotu reakce (cca 50-60 \u00b0C) a pe\u010dliv\u011b dodr\u017eovat pom\u011br surovin.  Po dokon\u010den\u00ed reakce (obvykle trv\u00e1 n\u011bkolik hodin) je nutn\u00e9 odd\u011blit glycerin (vedlej\u0161\u00ed produkt) od biodieselu.  To se prov\u00e1d\u00ed decantac\u00ed nebo centrifugac\u00ed.<\/p>\n<h3>\u010ci\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed a fin\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00faprava<\/h3>\n<p>Po odd\u011blen\u00ed glycerinu je biodiesel nutn\u00e9 propl\u00e1chnout vodou, aby se odstranily zbytky methanolov\u00e9 f\u00e1ze a katalyz\u00e1toru.  N\u00e1sledn\u011b se biodiesel nech\u00e1 usadit a zfiltruje se, aby se odstranily p\u0159\u00edpadn\u00e9 zbytky ne\u010distot.  Kvalita fin\u00e1ln\u00edho produktu se m\u016f\u017ee d\u00e1le zlep\u0161it pou\u017eit\u00edm filtr\u016f s jemn\u011bj\u0161\u00edmi p\u00f3ry.  P\u0159ed pou\u017eit\u00edm je vhodn\u00e9 ov\u011b\u0159it vlastnosti biodieselu, jako je nap\u0159\u00edklad cetanov\u00e9 \u010d\u00edslo a viskozita.<\/p>\n<h3>Bezpe\u010dnostn\u00ed opat\u0159en\u00ed<\/h3>\n<p>P\u0159i pr\u00e1ci s methanolem a hydroxidem sodn\u00fdm je nezbytn\u00e9 dodr\u017eovat p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e1 bezpe\u010dnostn\u00ed opat\u0159en\u00ed.  Methanol je jedovat\u00fd a ho\u0159lav\u00fd, a proto je nutn\u00e9 pracovat v dob\u0159e v\u011btran\u00e9m prostoru a pou\u017e\u00edvat ochrann\u00e9 pom\u016fcky, jako jsou rukavice, br\u00fdle a respir\u00e1tor.  Hydroxid sodn\u00fd je \u017e\u00edravina a m\u016f\u017ee zp\u016fsobit pop\u00e1leniny.  P\u0159i pr\u00e1ci s n\u00edm je nutn\u00e9 db\u00e1t maxim\u00e1ln\u00ed opatrnosti.<\/p>\n<p>Biodiesel vyroben\u00fd v dom\u00e1c\u00edm procesoru je alternativou k fosiln\u00edm paliv\u016fm.  A\u010dkoliv v\u00fdroba vy\u017eaduje pe\u010dlivou p\u0159\u00edpravu a dodr\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed bezpe\u010dnostn\u00edch p\u0159edpis\u016f, v\u00fdsledkem je ekologicky \u0161etrn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed palivo.  Kvalita vyroben\u00e9ho biodieselu z\u00e1vis\u00ed na mnoha faktorech, v\u010detn\u011b kvality surovin, p\u0159esnosti dodr\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed postupu a \u010distoty za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed.
