Ot\u00e1zka, zda ultrazvuk m\u016f\u017ee po\u0161kodit sluch, je slo\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, ne\u017e se na prvn\u00ed pohled zd\u00e1.  V n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edm textu se budeme zab\u00fdvat mechanismy, kter\u00e9 mohou v\u00e9st k po\u0161kozen\u00ed sluchu ultrazvukem, \u00farovn\u011bmi intenzity, kter\u00e9 p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed riziko, a ochrann\u00fdmi opat\u0159en\u00edmi.<\/p>\n<h3>Mechanismy po\u0161kozen\u00ed sluchu ultrazvukem<\/h3>\n<p>Po\u0161kozen\u00ed sluchu ultrazvukem se li\u0161\u00ed od po\u0161kozen\u00ed zp\u016fsoben\u00e9ho sly\u0161iteln\u00fdm zvukem.  Zat\u00edmco sly\u0161iteln\u00fd zvuk p\u0159\u00edmo stimuluje vl\u00e1skov\u00e9 bu\u0148ky ve vnit\u0159n\u00edm uchu, ultrazvuk m\u016f\u017ee zp\u016fsobit po\u0161kozen\u00ed nep\u0159\u00edmo. Dal\u0161\u00edm faktorem je produkce reaktivn\u00edch kysl\u00edkov\u00fdch druh\u016f (ROS), kter\u00e9 mohou zp\u016fsobit oxida\u010dn\u00ed stres a po\u0161kozen\u00ed bun\u011bk. Riziko z\u00e1vis\u00ed na kombinaci n\u011bkolika faktor\u016f, v\u010detn\u011b frekvence, d\u00e9lky expozice a individu\u00e1ln\u00ed citlivosti.
