Can electronic components be damaged by ultrasonic cleaning
It was in the 1950s when this question was first asked. During that time, in one cleaning session, some semiconductors were damaged when they were cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. This was mentioned in an air force report. These days, there is no need to worry about the possibility of damaging semiconductors if they are cleaned through ultrasonic cleaning. Semiconductors used nowadays are able to survive violent vibrations. Another reason why ultrasonic cleaning will not damage electronic parts is that ultrasonic cleaners nowadays are capable of preventing items from vibrating.
