https://www.bjultrasonic.com/category/ultrasonic-cleaning-system/ultrasonic-immersible-transducer/ Immersible Ultrasonic Transducers can be used for all cleaning applications, both aqueous and semi-aqueous. Ultrasonic Immersible Transducers are designed to provide powerful, effective ultrasonic cleaning for the toughest industrial cleaning applications.
In many cases, customers already have a cleaning tank which can be used to save considerably. By purchasing the ultrasonic components, and installing them into an existing non-ultrasonic tank, an ultrasoUltrasonic Immersibles with Riser Mountnic cleaning tank is produced. And, with the drastic increases in the cost of stainless steel, the savings are considerable.
Before considering a submersible system, consider the tank you have, and its material of construction. Plastic tanks should never be used for ultrasonic applications, since the plastic will reduce available ultrasonic cleaning power from 60-90% as a result of dampening of the ultrasonic waves. Tanks should be manufactured of a metal of some kind, preferably stainless steel.
Most submersible (also known as immersible) cleaning systems include 1 or more Ultrasonic Transducer Packs, and 1 or more Ultrasonic Generators to power the transducer pack. The Transducer packs are manufactured of 304 or 316 stainless steel, and are mounted either to the bottom, or side wall of an existing tank. Each Transducer Pack houses a number of individual Zenith double-stacked high-efficiency ultrasonic transducers mounted to promote evenly-distributed ultrasonic cleaning action in the tank into which these packs are mounted. Submersibles can be supplied with 25kHz, 40kHz, 80kHz, or CROSSFIRE Multiple Frequency Ultrasonic Systems.
